Hello, I hope you are all well?
The sun is shining, so today looks promising. We have a balcony here at
our new flat. And I have to say, I am loving it! Last night was
particularly nice, as when Bertie had gone to sleep, we sat and ate our
dinner out there, watching the sun setting. I even had a nice glass
of....I’d like to say ‘wine' as it would fit the picture I’m painting
here, but I didn’t have wine, I had cider. I’m not a big fan of wine.
Cider and beer are more my cup of tea. Actually, a cup of tea, that’s
probably more me these days! Have a lovely day.
Bet that balcony is going to win a prize for being the best-swept too! Lovely outlook on greenery - and that sky is sooo gorgeous. Sounds like you've switched from Devon to being urbanites very successfully! Hope Maisie is settling in well - is she at her new school yet? ooh, and love your red mobile too!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds lovely but not the cider. I had a very bad experience with cider when I was a teenager! :)
ReplyDeletesounds lovely! I wish I had a balcony too :-) beautiful last pictute!
ReplyDeleteI lov your new view! It brought back memories of a 2nd floor apartment view we used to have a while back...It was great too! :-]
ReplyDeleteoh look at the view! Yes I would be out there the entire summer with a view like that... your up in the treetops. Love the red circles, what are they? Have a good sunny day. Lou x
ReplyDeleteoh.. I love that sky-line.. how lovely to have a balcony and somewhere to sit out relax and enjoy.. i love my red wine but as soon as the suns out and bottle of ice cold beer is all I want - lush!
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat a balcony - sheer pleasure :) Up amongst the birds and looking over the world (great that you have such a bevy of green things to look at too). Have a great week Kerry! Kx
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect! And yes, a balcony is something precious in summer!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of sitting on the balcony sipping cider, especially pear cider! Yummy. Funny how the simplest things in life are so often the nicest.
