The steam fair came to town over the weekend, and we went along with Famapa
and her little boy, Omar. It was brimming with colour, sweet smells,
and fantastic fonts! I’d like to have captured more, but it’s hard with
little ones in tow. Inquisitive toddlers and rides don’t mix...too many
hazards. My brain was quite frazzled from overstimulation come the end!
Fun though. Maisie went back there in the evening with Dan, and they
managed to go on all the big rides that she didn’t get to go on with
me....1. because Bertie was there, and 2. because I’m a big wuss!
im seriously flattered that you have visited me over at my little beetle shack!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo's (in keeping with the rest of your awesome blog)!! Sleep well after a fun day
em xo
I'm from a small town and I remember how much fun fairs used to be!! :-) But you didn't even talk about the food! (Usually my most fun part! LOL) Cotton candy, corn dogs, hot peanuts, big pretzels, foot-long hot dogs, etc.... ^_^ {Reminds me of the rat in 'Charlotte's web'! ^_^}
ReplyDeleteDid I write this post? I think so. I cannot take Gus anywhere near the steam fair but it's a lovely one isn't it. Ben and isi had a ball at the alli palli fair over Easter. I'm better off having a biscuit with gussy at home! X
ReplyDeleteLove these,I love the fair.
ReplyDeleteHiya these photos are fab! If you have got a smart phone, have you got the Instagram app? You apply filters to photos with it, these would work beautifully! (I have just discovered it nd am addicted!)

ReplyDeleteI'm a wuss too by the way. :-)
