A cloudy day, no colour in the
sky and starting to feel very autumnal. That was Tuesday. Suddenly I am
wearing layers again! We spent the afternoon at Kenwood House,
roaming around the grounds and enjoying coffee and cake afterwards. The
orange and lavender cake was delicious. Bertie thought so too.
Oh I love the little cafe out the side of Kenwood- aaawwwwesome carrot cake, and so worth the trek through the woods to get there!
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced that one day 'pon the Heath (we're so Jane Austen, here) our paths will cross- we visit all the same places!

ReplyDeleteWe're planning a weekend trip to London and Kenwood House is on our list of things we're considering seeing on our trip. I just love the Jane Austen look of the place! Did you go inside the house on your visit, or is it open to go inside?
i love the organic lemonade.. and the lovely bottle!.. nice pictures.
ReplyDeletehugs!
He looks so cool in that cap!
ReplyDeleteHad to look up where Kenwood House was. We're National Trust members so always gravitate towards NT places as they won't cost us anything. Should make sure we venture out to other places too.
Love.
