Hello nice people. I hope you’re all doing good. A bit of a mixture here for you today, summing up the weekend. We had a nice wander around Somerset House on Sunday. Skies were blue and the sun was out :)
We saw the amazing, handmade clay flowers installation by Fernando Casasempere. There are 10,000 of them planted on a pristine lawn! I recommend a trip if you’ve not yet been. Quite spectacular.
I’d like to have taken a seat, but Bertie was almost asleep, so we kept on walking. We daren’t settle too early if sleep is on the cards, or he’ll awaken prematurely!!
Lots of tea in my favourite cup. Everyday.
A new tea towel from Bookhou At Home - I always think it looks like something I might have made, but they got there first and did a grand job. I’ve wanted it for so long!
Table collage! Small cars are everywhere. I often find them in my bed = late night shock!
Bertie’s little leggings. I like him in these.
My mum came to stay and bought me some tulips - thanks mum!
More wheeled vehicles - I liked this red bus in the sunlight :)
And there are my tulips again. Love them. I rarely have fresh flowers so it’s a real treat. I don’t own a vase though would you believe? Disgraceful! We had to stick these in one of those glass storage canisters with the flip lid - you know the ones? We keep pasta and lentils and dried things in them. Oh well...they don’t look look too bad in it!
I hope you all had fun weekends - anything you’d like to share?
P.S. Don’t forget, I have a 10% off sale in my shops (see previous post). Use the code happy at the checkout :)
Those clay flowers are so beautiful. I wish we lived a bit nearer to London to visit these things! I have the triangles bag from Bookhou and the fabric is so lovely. I booked my haircut for tomorrow to be all chopped off - is that worth sharing? Happy Monday Kerry! x
ReplyDeleteOoh Jen, hope we'll see some pics :-)
DeleteIf you lived nearer, you could have come with us! I was very jealous you got to go to the Donna Wilson thing! Hope you’re happy with your hair :)
DeleteKerry, that is an amazing photograph of the tulips and Wow the Casasempere exhibition, sublime!

DeleteWow. Those clay flowers look amazing. I had those headphones in green but I lost them last week. Gutted. : ( Your canister vase sounds pretty rad to me. We went to a huge flea market the size of Oktoberfest on the weekend. If you're ever in the area during April, I highly recommend it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Kerry & Co! xx
Oh no, you lost your headphones! Big bummer! Would love to go to that market - one day! Have a lovely new week xx
DeleteLove those hand made clay flowers, would love to see that! I find little cars everywhere too, and they heart nearly as much as Lego when you tread on one! Like the sound of your canister vase. x
ReplyDeleteOooh, yes, but I think Lego is the worst for standing on - ouch!
DeleteLooks like a lovely weekend : )
ReplyDeleteThose leggings are amazing, do they do baby sizes? I'm always on the lookout for awesome baby leg attire!
Have a great week x
Thank you :) Yes they did do them in baby sizes, but they don’t do these leggings anymore unfortunately. They came from here http://polarnopyret.co.uk/
Deleteso many things to like about this little collection of photos. I love that you can make photos of the simplest things seem so special!
ReplyDeleteAnd nothing wrong with glass canisters as vases... I use fowlers jars most of the time and it works a treat.
Happy week!
Ah, thank you, what a lovely thing to say. :) Pleased to hear you use the jars too!
DeleteHi,

Hey, those clay flowers are amazing. Would love to see that installation. And I'm trying to keep my Bertie wearing his harlequin leggings as long as possible even though they are almost cutting off the circulation to his legs now as they are so small! But I love them so much and I've never had so many comments on a piece of clothing ever! Take care x
