Hello to you. I’ve been taking random pictures around my home and enjoying the changes of light throughout the day. Does it sound like I’ve been stuck indoors? Why yes, I have! I’ve been waiting for a postcard delivery, which keeps teasing me into thinking it’s coming (including the online tracking service telling me that it is ‘in transit!’) but it still hasn’t arrived. I wasted a whole day yesterday, just waiting at home - mad is an understatement. It’s not fun when you have a two year old who needs to be outside! Hopefully they will arrive today and then all will be well in Kerryland!
In other news, we have been enjoying Rachel Khoo’s new series 'Little Paris Kitchen' on BBC1. I bought her book (she’s a pretty maid isn’t she?), which is quite amusing seeing as I don’t even cook! I’m hoping (as is my husband), that it might inspire me into having a go. We shall see; it’s a lovely book regardless. Plus, we have a very small kitchen, so it’s inspiring to watch her cooking up all sorts of delicious things in such a teeny-tiny space.
I've heard a lot about that little paris kitchen of late. Intriguing.
ReplyDeleteAs for waiting for the postman...grrrr.
Happy day to you Kerry x
Grrr indeed! I’m in the worst mood because of this! Ha! Try and catch some Paris Kitchen if you can. Happy day to you too x
DeleteOh Kerry those photographs are just stunning. And what is that in number four? Is it a weed growing on the balcony? Whatever it is it's beautiful! x
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Jen :) xx Yes, it’s a weed on my balcony! 100 points for excellent observation!
DeleteLove her, as you know! I've been wearing red lippy a lot, it makes me feel great! Oh yes, cook up a storm.. spesh her deserts, YUM! x
ReplyDeleteHe he, I don’t think I’ve ever worn red lippy, or even lippy! Good for you! She’s certainly a hotty! xx
DeleteSuch lovely home pictures! But of course I'm wishing you some outside sun for today!

ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, grab the book if you can - it’s a beauty! I don’t think I could ever share my cooking here - unless something amazing happens! Unlikely! x

DeleteYou always have such stunning photos! Is that a duvet cover the elephant is on? It's lovely. x
ReplyDeleteOh thank you :) Yes it is, a pillow case that’s Maisie’s and Bertie’s Ikea duvet! We left his pillow in Devon, so he’s borrowing hers!
DeleteLoving the elephant on the polka dots – and the shocked/surprised card :) Not seen the show yet but everyone keeps mentioning it... will have to try! P.S. Kerryland sounds like it should be a very designy amusement park! ;)
ReplyDeleteAh thanks :) That’s a Sandra Juto print. Try and watch the show if you can - we only ever watch it on iplayer! I love your optimism about Kerryland! Ha, I don’t think people would have much fun in my miserable amusement park!!
DeleteO I love that program and have just received the book for my birthday so am pretty damn excited to try some recipes. She makes it look so easy!!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh yay, glad you have the book. She does make it look easy darn it!
