A Bit Of Bath & A Pop-Up-Shop

Hello folks, I hope you’re all good? Did you do anything nice at the weekend? I did :) Yesterday (Sunday) I spent a (childless) day in the beautiful city of Bath with my chums Fran and Lou. We had a pleasant wander around the very pretty town centre, stopping for a bite to eat and a cup of something warm. I really enjoy hanging out with these two inspiring, (instagram-addicted!) lasses. Plus the weather wasn’t too bad either. A good day - I’m looking forward to next time.

P.S - Those are Lou’s new sandals (I have some in tan - just saying). There has been a lot of interest in Lou’s sandal saga, so I thought I’d get a picture!
Oh, and I almost forgot. All this week in Crouch End, there’s a pop-up shop featuring my work and lovely things from online children’s store, Niddle Noddle. Pop in for something nice - Say hello if you spot Bertie and I mooching around Crouchy (and if I look grumpy/unapproachable, I’m really not. It’s just my face!) Details HERE.

  2. Oh Bath looks so beautiful. Glad you ladies had such a lovely day and also loving Lou's sandals! (it was worth the wait - eh Lou?).
As for the grumpy face, put your sunglasses on then no-one will know! I always do that at the school gates otherwise I look so, so miserable. Ha! x

    1. Thank you Jen. Yes Bath is lovely. I hope you get to see it one day. And would you believe, I don’t own sunglasses. I’m always squinting/frowning hence the grumpy looking face (even when I’m not grumpy!) So hard to find ones that suit. I must get some asap! x

    1. Thanks Kylie. I’m not actually grumpy, but a lot of people have said I look grumpy when I’m not. Random people have told me to ‘cheer up!’
      Hope you’re well xx

    1. They are lovely and so comfortable (once worn in)! They are Saltwater sandals, which you can buy over here from Toast, but I think Lou got hers from Modcloth in the Staes, which even with shipping was cheaper than here. Hope you find some x

  13. Ha ha, I am loving all the Bath themed posts on yours and the other ladies blogs. It is such a beautiful place, but also not as fusty and touristy as I think some people think it is. And it's lovely that you guys have become friends in flesh as well as via blogs. I have loved getting to know fellow Bath resident Nell from On the First Day of Marriage over the last few months. Next time you guys head to Bath, do let us know and we'll show you some hidden treasures. Amy x

  21. I went to Bath for the first time last year and fell in love with the place! It's a bit far for me to travel though (I'm in Sheffield). York's lovely and so is my hometown of Lincoln - you should visit both one day if you already haven't.
