Evening Picnic

The lovely weather prompted us to take a picnic down to the beach last evening (this is Budleigh Salterton in case you're curious). Such a beautiful evening it was too. After eating and throwing pebbles into the sea, we made our way to the nearby park to play as the sun went down (I say 'we' but I mean 'they.' I just waddled around taking pictures!). Perfect.

Seaside Sunday

Bertie and I spent this afternoon by the sea with his grandparents and great nana. A yummy cream tea, followed by some paddling and saltwater fun in the sunshine were much enjoyed. Bertie was soaked through!

I spotted the beautiful hydrangeas in my nana's garden when we dropped her home and had to take a picture. My all time favourites.

Down By The River

Hello, I hope you're all enjoying your summers (or whatever season you are encountering right now). We made the most of another warm, sunny day yesterday and took a picnic to the river. Bertie enjoyed wading around in the water with his fishing net and Maisie took her sketch pad. Very nice to be back in Devon, I must say.
