This Is Nice

What a nice apartment, don't you think? I particularly like the grey kitchen with its black and white floor. I would love to have a reading corner like this too. Shame I've been reading the same book since pregnancy! How lame! I just don't get the chance anymore. I really miss reading. Can anyone recommend any good reads for when I do get back into the spirit of using my brain for this purpose again? Or tell me your favourite books/authors if you'd like to....Always good to make new discoveries! (apartment via here).

  2. The apartment is so light and airy! Would love a reading chair and some bookshelves like that! My favourite book is Cannery Row by John Steinbeck, but I'd recommend any Steinbeck, Hesse or Orwell. If you like non-fiction I recently read an incredible book called 'The Brain that Changes Itself'.

Re books: I recently read "The kite runner" and "A thousand splendid suns" by Khaled Hosseini, and found them fascinating!
