Hello!
How are you all, and have you had nice weekends? I hope so. We have had
yet another busy and exhausting weekend in London. The Of Cabbages
& Kings market went very well though, so all worth it. I met some very lovely and talented people too (Emily and Stacie) as
well as some friendly readers of my blog, who came and said hello, so
yay! Plus, we've found somewhere to live! Woooo! Or shall I say, I have
found us somewhere to live...only Bertie and I have seen the place
(slightly nervous about that...eeeeeeeekkkk)!
Thank
you to those of you who informed me about my blog being mentioned in
the Independent 'New Review' supplement yesterday (Sunday). I wasn't
aware of this at all, so it has been a wonderful surprise! The only
problem is that I don't have a copy, so if there is anyone out there who
might have it and be willing to pass it on to me, I would be extremely
grateful. Please email me (via contact link in the sidebar). Or leave me
a comment with your email and I will contact you. Thank you!
Anyway, today I am posting a few pictures from one of the latest Freunde von Freunde
interviews. I particularly like this home, with its lived-in feel. The
random animals lined up in the final picture remind me of my own home
(posted here). Great chairs too.
i really liked this home - such a great kitchen space and table. glad to hear your weekend went well. we found somewhere to live and surprised ourselves by deciding to stay in battersea park instead of going back to waterloo - must be our advancing years ;)
ReplyDeleteThe mushroom on the chair is funny :-D
ReplyDeleteoh we are thinking of putting a bike on the ceiling, ben has 3 bikes and only one fits in the shed. would have to have an extra mechanism though to make it go flat against the ceiling. anyway, i'm now just thinking aloud in your comments section, this should be a conversation with some kind of engineer, not you.
ReplyDeletei don't have a new review but i'll ask around. sounds exciting! you are obviously a mover and a shaker! x
Happy Days, Congratulations sweetheart! :) x

ReplyDeleteHoorah for new homes. Today we rather unexpectadely found our new flat. It's completely amazing but has taken us by surprise. We were very half-heartedly looking so we're a bit shell shocked right now. But when it's perfect, it's best to go for it!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you, and don't worry. You and Bertie have spectacular taste, so it'll be fine! xx
