Sometimes we have a “what the
hell, life is for living” moment. This was one of those moments.
Couldn’t really afford it, but we thought we’d eat out last night to
celebrate the fact that Maisie is starting her new school today. Good
luck Maisie! Delicious burgers, fries (in my opinion, skinny = fries and
fat = chips), onion rings and brownie milkshakes. yum.com. In fact, I
was so engrossed in my burger, I accidentally called Bertie ‘Bergie!’
They won’t let me forget that one!
In other news, I now have a Seventy Tree
Facebook page, which you can ‘like’ if you wish to. I can’t say I’ve
really got the hang of it yet, but I’m sure that will come with
time.....
Good luck Maisie! I hope her day goes well. You need those life is for living moments sometimes and that burger does look good, i'm sure Bertie will forgive you! x
ReplyDeleteOhhh mmmmm that milkshake & burger look soooo yummy!! And totally a combination i love to make too!! My bf always thinks i'm nuts when i order those 2 together :))
ReplyDeleteMmmm that looks so good. And I so know what you mean about having those moments where you just think "who cares" and let yourself enjoy something. You're not alone there :) That seems like a great way to celebrate starting school!
ReplyDeleteYUM YUM YUM YUM YUM ! And congrats Maisie! :D
ReplyDeleteOh...should I get a facebook page, too?! *liked*

ReplyDeleteGood luck to Maisie :) That is very funny calling Bertie Bergie!. Will pop over to FB right away. x
ReplyDeleteKnow just what you mean - sometimes you've just gotta cut loose and eat the 'bad' stuff. Thinking of doing that this Friday night. Got a HD for my studies :)
ReplyDeletePS love your photography!
The Yum.com reference....FUNNY!! :-)) I sure understand it from looking at it!! {And being a Massachusetts girl, I don't get the whole confusion about 'chips'. Lay's potato 'chipc' to me is 'chips'. French fries is 'french fries', fat, skinny, skin on, skin off...I can eat them with some ham. But I like them without jam. I just love them. Even yam. I just love them 'Sam I Am'!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh yum, these photos make me HUNGRY! ;)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Maisie and her first day - hope it all goes smoothly. Kx
