On Sunday, we took an autumn
stroll, in blazing hot summer temperatures to nearby woods. The heat
felt so bizarre and slightly wrong (not that I was
complaining...actually, I may have a few times...)! People were basking
in the sunshine whilst autumn leaves and acorns fell to the ground! I
think autumn is returning now, so I’d better look out my jumpers again.
P.S. Happy Cinnamon Bun Day to any Swedish readers!
I had the same awkward feeling this week end...
ReplyDeleteit was lovely to have all the sun and warm but at the same time you collect chestnuts and leaves are yellow.:)

Lovely pictures! I am looking forward to more sunshine as we head into summer. We had a teaser but, alas, back to cold and rain. The Spring weather this year has been very erratic!

Fran - lucky you! Not sure where you’ll be in London, but Camden Passage is good for quirky shops and eateries (can get busy though). I adore strolling around Hampstead Heath too. Primrose Hill is nice for its park, and there are some nice (more upmarket) shops. Anywhere around the Southbank is also recommended. Columbia Road on a Sunday has its famous flower market. It’s busy, but there are some lovely shops and cafes. I’m still discovering London myself as I’ve only been here for 6 months! Let me know how you get on :) Have a great trip! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture!
ReplyDeleteMight have to embrace my Scandinavian heritage and have my own (belated) cinnamon bun day! x
Cinnamon bun day? Hmmm I wish we had that in the states!
