Hello
Folks! I hope you all had super duper Christmases! I must say, that
ours was one of the nicest yet; very relaxed, just as it should be :) On
Boxing Day, we made some Christmas leftovers sandwiches and took them
onto the Heath to eat. It was so nice to be out in the crisp air,
strolling under dark, moody skies - just what we needed. Bertie
tried out his new tricycle (which as you can see, he takes very
seriously - that’s our Bertie!). In fact, he is almost nodding off to
sleep in this picture!
I think we’re going to make this our new Boxing Day tradition (along with 500000000 other Londoners!).
I hope you enjoyed yours.
These photos are so adorable! Little kids bundled up are just adorable! I'm glad you had a great Christmas and Boxing Day!

ReplyDeleteWow, looks like a whole lot of fun!Our Boxing Day involved eating leftovers, a walk on the beach (too rough to swim) and a game of barefoot lawn bowls at the club in the evening....good times
ReplyDeleteTrikes, bikes, scooters... why do they always end up being carried at some point? Lovely photos, and a belated Happy Xmas!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots! Strangely enough, our Christmas looks pretty much the same with green grass. No snow yet.
ReplyDeleteKind regards,
Lilli (Norway)

ReplyDeleteNice pics. Wonderful Christmas celebration. Spending time with family is the best always.
ReplyDeleteMay I be so bold as to ask where you got the trike, or the brand? I'm struggling with the numerous nasty plastic options & Bertie's is just lovely...
ReplyDeleteyour family is too sweet!
ReplyDeletea very happy new year to you and yours Kerry!
Looks like a wonderful outdoors day! Everything you eat out in nature tastes so much better I think.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteJade, I am so sorry for taking so long to respond. How rubbish of me - Bertie’s scooter was a second hand Ebay find, it’s a Zooky Classique, but I think you can still buy them. Notice they’re out of stock on Amazon, but I found on (in pink) here

There is a picture of a red on too, so they may have it :) Hope you find something x
Oooh, You're a marvel, thank you! And I'm in highbury with a 17 month old trike obsessive called Esme, so if you are ever passing through the fields & fancy a date at the swings we'd be happy to oblige...
ReplyDeleteHi Jade, you’re welcome! Send me an email - I’m not far from you :) theseventytree@yahoo.co.uk
