Hello folks! I thought I would share a few pictures from yesterday. We spent the day with Famapa and Omar and it was great to get out of our ‘hood’ for a change - it had been too long! Some glorious sunshine greeted us as we approached the Royal Festival Hall. I love that reassuring feeling when you think, oh yeah, spring; you’re not too far away now, I remember you :)
Even though we didn’t do the things we’d actually set out to do, it was a really nice day. Lots of walking (feeling that today), a chorizo sandwich from Borough Market and brownies from Konditor and Cook (yum). Bertie and Omar enjoyed having a natter on the phones in the Tate Modern too - they’re a funny pair!
Happy weekends! Don’t forget my giveaway over on Facebook - there’s still time!
They're so cute on those phones. Love that skateboard deck shot.

Haha, yes they were. It’s was very funny! :)
DeleteThat picture of them on the phones - they totally look like they are chatting away! Hilarious. And Bertie even has triangle trousers - where do you find these things Kerry!
ReplyDeleteIt was so funny watching them! Hehe, I know. I stumble across these things and can’t resist them. I got them online. Have a nice weekend x
DeleteWhat beautiful pictures, is the third one of mini broken skateboards? You have a wonderful eye for photography.
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Yes, the third pic is of broken skateboards. They’re full size - I was just looking down on them from the bridge. It’s known as ‘Skateboard Graveyard’ and it’s where the skaters throw their broken boards! I only know that because my husband used to skate at the Southbank!
DeleteLove the telephone photograph, they actually seem like they have a serious conversation going on there, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI know, Omar looks like the boss, directing Bertie!
DeleteBeautiful picture of the boys, I'm curious what they were talking about :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a little puzzled about the deck picture; they look like tiny decks, but then again there is also a pair of shoes..and what about the circle-thingy..
It’s skateboard graveyard at the Southbank, where skaters throw their broken boards! You van look down on it from the bridge, which is why they look like mini boards! My husband used to skate there, but he’d put his broken decks on his wall instead!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute how they are talking on the phone! And ps. your new blogdesign is amazing! Well done! (I think you and I have some strange addiction for blogdesigns!) Have a great weekend Kerry!x
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne, and yes, I share the addiction! I just love redesigning it - it’s fun and satisfies some of my creative urges!! Your redesign looks fab too :) Have a great weekend x
Deletei need an adult size of those triangle pants! love it!

Ha, yes they are rather appealing!
DeleteHa, it rings a bell. Going out and ending up not doing the things we set out to do :)
ReplyDeleteI love that shot of the broken skateboards. So bright and dark at the same time. Very mysterious.
Have a good weekend lady!
xx
Yes often the way! Nice to get out of the house though. It’s the skateboard graveyard! Have a good weekend too :) x
Deleteskateboard graveyard, so sad*
ReplyDeletei love that pants that little one have.
Look like u had really nice day :)
Thank you, yes we did. And the skateboard graveyard is pretty sad, but quite nice at the same time :)
DeleteOh hello, Bertie's trousers! Your blog reminds me that I'm totally overdue a London visit...on my own, no children!
ReplyDeleteHehe, well I couldn’t resist them :) Ah, yes, a trip to London, just you sounds great. I think I need to do the same, even though I live here!
DeleteOh what a lovely day you had - I love living in Bath but we used to live in Southwark and I loved our Saturday mornings strolling round Borough Market (we got married in the cathedral there!) and those chorizo sandwiches are the best. Yum. Bertie's trousers are ace too. Mrs B x
ReplyDeleteWe did thank you. Yes, a Borough Market stroll is rather pleasant! What a nice place to get married! You’ve got it pretty good in Bath, I’d say :)
DeleteI love the trousers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Irene!
DeleteLove these photos! Especially the broken skateboards :) I'm going to forward that pic to my daughter, if that's okay? She's an avid skater. Kx
