Hello, I disappeared last week didn’t I?! I am just so busy at the moment with my shop and trying to fit it all in around mummying, my poor blog has been a bit neglected. Anyway, I took a few pics of some more changes and little details around my home. We are still swapping things around and generally refreshing the place. Tumbler - here. Tray - here. Garland - here. Plant pot - here.
I threaded these giant wooden beads myself. Admittedly the cord has broken once and the beads scattered everywhere (oh the rage!). Knots were never my strong point.
Recently I took part in a swap on Sandra’s blog. I sent her tea, she sent me goodies, including this print. Love it.
This is the new print that I mentioned recently. I adore it, but it’s really hard to photograph as there are too many reflections where it is situated, so here is a little snippet. Fur Neil print from here.
I’ve been swapping my postcards around too. I ordered a couple from Lou’s shop, which you can see here, the Zig Leaf and Trees postcards. She’s been doing some great new illustrations, so go and have a browse.
Oh I love the details of your home, Kerry! So funny: We have the same "Für Neil" print at our home and it hangs right next to one of your prints! I just updated my blog yesterday with photos of it, so take a look around, if you like :)
ReplyDeleteHi Trixi, I am very happy to hear that my print sits next to this on! And I looked at your amazing phtotos of your apartment - beautiful - very envious over here!!
DeleteNow I thought you might buy that Fur Neil print! I love it, and was swithering over it too. Your home details look beautiful as always. x
ReplyDeleteWe have the same taste Jen! I recommend you make a purchase :) Thank you x
DeleteWhat fun little snapshots!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the print and postcard links! I love learning of new creative people!

DeleteOh what nice things.! Love Lou's new work, and am also very taken with the crocodile/dragon thingy!
ReplyDeleteHi Flora, thank you! Yes, Lou’s doing some lovely stuff! The crocodile/dragon thing-me-bob is by Darling Clementine :)
DeleteYou have some very cute corners of your home. x
ReplyDeleteThanks Lyzi - I like a nice corner! x
DeleteGorgeous bits and bobs :) Love the big beads... Nothing like a bit of swapping things around to feel fresher huh? (I got that Fur Neil print too... even though I don't have kids! My husband's name is Neil so that's my excuse! ;)) Hope you life isn't swamping you too much x
ReplyDeleteThanks Zoe. Yes, I agree. Makes all the difference having a change around. Indeedy-do. I can imagine this print in your home too. I didn’t buy it for my kids! It’s in the living room, not one of their rooms. No excuses needed. Life is pretty swampy, but you know! x
DeleteWhenever I see pictures of your home I wish I already could start decorating ours. So many beautiful details!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hope you get to do yours soon :)
DeleteLovely snippets of your home...

Have a nice week!
Thank you :) Yes, the beads were a good idea. I am interested to see what you do with yours. I just threaded mine into a circle...I’d wanted some for a while and found them on Ebay. Have a nice week too x
DeleteWhat a stunning home, extremely unique and I love the sticky tape :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteLove the little details. It's nice swapping things around a bit, I'm about to do some of that too. I'm a bit of a hoarder though.
ReplyDeleteI love the 'Fur Neil' print, I've seen it around on the internet but never got round to buying one. I love the moon, definitely on my wishlist :)
Thank you. Yes, get the print if you can - I’m so happy with it :)

ReplyDeleteI love my new poster. I´ve framed it. Now I must find a good spot for it!
Hi Rina, Great news, thank you. I looked forward to seeing it in you beautiful home! :)
DeleteI love all the little details, especially that Donna Wilson beaker and the mirror. I love your colour choices, you clearly have a great eye. Your print looks great, can't wait to see the whole thing! It's also so fun to see my little garland in amongst all your lovely things, thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Charmaine. I love the beaker and the mirror was a junk shop find! I’m so happy with my garland, thank you :)
DeleteIt looks so nice there! Love the plant pot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Ikea plant pot tip! I spent my weekend looking for some nice plant pots for indoors and couldn't find any - looks Iike I need a little Ikea trip (always dangerous)!
ReplyDeleteIkea trips are always dangerous!! Good luck!
DeleteLOVE all these details. I am so getting that plant and pot on my next ikea trip... to cute to not really! Thanks for including my postcards, I am super happy to see them nestled in there. They look right at home. I might have to get moustache moon man myself.. ahhh it's no good, I might have to move in and live under your dining table! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Lou. I’m not one for plants really ( a bit like animals!). Thought I’d give it a go. And typically I keep forgetting to water it, so who knows how long it’ll last! Come and move in!!

DeleteLovely pictures Kerry - I'm eyeing off that potplant big time! I'd really like to have more houseplants in our place, so thanks for the inspiration:) Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Georgia. I’m really not one for plants usually, but thought I’d give it a try - hopefully it will survive, but can’t guarantee it! I hope you find one you like for your place :)
DeleteI love your home. So bright and fresh. I'm in love with that first print. Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, check out her shop, it’s lovely. :)
DeleteGosh! so many goodies in one place! Where di you find the lovely wood beams?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great swap you did with Sandra! Is that something you often arrange on the blog?
Thank you :) I got the beads from Ebay actually - worth a look!
DeleteThe swap was one on Sandra’s blog and I was one of the first five people to comment, so got in on the swap. It’s something I like doing, but haven’t really done it on my blog before. Maybe I should start :)
Oh, such lovely details! I have to remember each time that you mentioned you don't live in such a big house, because each time I see these organized corners, I can't help but think: she must have such a big house, with so many of these clean, organized, beautiful corners!
ReplyDeleteHi Nina, thank you. Yes, it’s a small two bedroomed flat, so we’re squashed in really! The corners you see are organised and I often change them around, but behind the scenes is another story! It’s nice to make these little displays though ;)
