Home Details

Hello, I disappeared last week didn’t I?! I am just so busy at the moment with my shop and trying to fit it all in around mummying, my poor blog has been a bit neglected. Anyway, I took a few pics of some more changes and little details around my home. We are still swapping things around and generally refreshing the place. Tumbler - here. Tray - here. Garland - here. Plant pot - here.

I threaded these giant wooden beads myself. Admittedly the cord has broken once and the beads scattered everywhere (oh the rage!). Knots were never my strong point.

Recently I took part in a swap on Sandra’s blog. I sent her tea, she sent me goodies, including this print. Love it.

This is the new print that I mentioned recently. I adore it, but it’s really hard to photograph as there are too many reflections where it is situated, so here is a little snippet. Fur Neil print from here.

I’ve been swapping my postcards around too. I ordered a couple from Lou’s shop, which you can see here, the Zig Leaf and Trees postcards. She’s been doing some great new illustrations, so go and have a browse.

  1. Oh I love the details of your home, Kerry! So funny: We have the same "Für Neil" print at our home and it hangs right next to one of your prints! I just updated my blog yesterday with photos of it, so take a look around, if you like :)

    1. Thanks Zoe. Yes, I agree. Makes all the difference having a change around. Indeedy-do. I can imagine this print in your home too. I didn’t buy it for my kids! It’s in the living room, not one of their rooms. No excuses needed. Life is pretty swampy, but you know! x

What a great swap you did with Sandra! Is that something you often arrange on the blog?

    1. Thank you :) I got the beads from Ebay actually - worth a look!

The swap was one on Sandra’s blog and I was one of the first five people to comment, so got in on the swap. It’s something I like doing, but haven’t really done it on my blog before. Maybe I should start :)

  25. Oh, such lovely details! I have to remember each time that you mentioned you don't live in such a big house, because each time I see these organized corners, I can't help but think: she must have such a big house, with so many of these clean, organized, beautiful corners!

    1. Hi Nina, thank you. Yes, it’s a small two bedroomed flat, so we’re squashed in really! The corners you see are organised and I often change them around, but behind the scenes is another story! It’s nice to make these little displays though ;)
