Hello everyone, how are you doing? What a nice weekend we had here! Bristol on Saturday (see previous post) and a sunny, spring-like, family day on Sunday, wandering around, blowing bubbles and playing in the sand. Perfecto. And I finally felt like taking a few pictures again too - yay!
And look at my daughter - I think she has seen so many triangles, she is wearing them too! I very much approve of course. That’s a boy’s H&M hoodie, which I was thinking of getting for myself, but then thought I should get it for Maisie, not me! And she wears it all the time. She was very tired yesterday, having been to a sleepover the night before and not going to sleep until after 4am. I have a feeling she’s going to enjoy a bit of a party when she’s older.....uh-oh!
Hi Kerry, lovely pics! It was a lovely weekend weather wise wasn't it? You could almost feel summer on its way :-) Have a good week x
ReplyDeleteI know, I love that hopeful feeling when you know it’s on its way! Hope you had a lovely one too x
DeleteH&M boys hoodie - right I'm off to look! We went walking in the Spring sunshine yesterday too, it was so lovely! x
ReplyDeleteHa, yes, I reckon there might still be a few left - possibly on sale now, as we got it a couple of months ago. Glad you got out in the sunshine too Jen x
DeleteSuch beautiful pictures! The one with the bubbles made me smile :) And how lucky are you to have that spring-time weather over there already!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to convince my daughter to go out, too, cause the weather here today is lovely. Still some ice & snow left, but bright and sunny. There's just the matter of getting dressed before going, I'm so looking forward to the days when just a sweater or a pull-over will do... Bertie's look is so cute!
Oh thank you Mirva :) Yes, we seem to be having a nice spell of weather - long may it last! i hope you and your daughter get to go out and enjoy some sunshine x

Thank you :) Yes, I feel so much better for seeing the sun - even if I don’t go out, it’s still nice to know it’s there! Have a lovely week x
DeleteGorgeous, Kerry! Love that shot of Maisie... and Bertie and your fella look so cute together in their stripes :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Claire :) I think everything my husband owns has stripes on it! Bertie too actually! xx
DeleteSunshine, bubbles, and little feet... perfect! Was just thinking that Maisie's hoodie was very you!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a good day! Ha, yes, I love the hoodie, but think I’m past the hoodie stage of life now, so I’ll leave it to Maisie! xx
DeleteThose trees look like they are painted camo!
ReplyDeleteHa, you’re right, they do!
DeleteLove these! Lydia still buys boy's hoodies at H&M. In fact, I just bought a men's t-shirt last week...
ReplyDeleteYes, and why not. Not long ago, Maisie wouldn’t entertain the idea of wearing boys clothes, but now, she’s very cool with it!
DeleteBertie is becoming sooo big! And the cutest of the cute! I am biased though - A) He's a little boy with long blonde hair & B) He's your Bertie! ;) xxx
ReplyDeleteHe’s had a mega growth spurt lately! Aaaw, thanks ;) x
DeleteOh, I love these bubbles!!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteBeautiful pictures and such a lovely family, I wish I could meet you at the park :)
ReplyDeleteFlorina is planning a pyjama party for her 11th birthday, which I think is a fun idea, and yesterday she asked if they could have a sleepless night, of course I said no way, but then she negociated: 4 am? 3 am? 2 am? So I have a question for you: are you upset as a parent when you hear that your child barely slept at a sleepover, or you just expect it and it's "part of the deal" in a way? And wouldn't it be a killjoy to go to a sleepover with parents sending you to bed early? Do you think there must be a limit, though?
Ah sorry there's so many questions here!
Hi Annabelle, sorry for the late reply! It’s a tricky one really. I think you just have to expect that they’re not going to get the sleep they usually would! It’s too exciting for them. Maisie has been and had several sleepovers now, and she is always one of the worst for not sleeping! She always goes to bed very early the next night! I think they generally go to bed and then the parents have to keep going in to tell them to be quiet! That’s what usually happens. Eventually they give in! But it’s always pretty late! x
DeleteThanks for your answer Kerry! Yes, I'm expecting a late night... ;)
DeleteHave a good day!
